The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Edna Boykin can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: To the family of Ms. Edna Boykin:

I would like to express my condolences to you for the loss of your mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. The death of a loved one can be most devastating. But the Bible helps us to see at 2 Corinthians 1:3 that 'the God of all comfort' can give you the courage and strength to cope with your loss. He also provides a hope that you can be reunited with your dead loved one in the near future. This is the hope of the resurrection. Jesus made this promise at John 5:28. And there is no doubt that Jehovah and his Son, Jesus, are both willing and able to fulfill it. Imagine the great joy that you will feel when Ms. Boykin is brought back to life and is reunited with her loved ones again right here on earth.

Condolence: My sincerest condolences to the family of the beloved Edna Boykin. I express my deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear mother, grandmother, aunt, niece, cousin. I hope you find comfort and strength within one another as well as the promises found in the Bible by the true God (Psalms 83:18). One of these comforting scriptures is found at Acts 24:15 where it speaks about a resurrection taking place. What a joyful time this will be when we are able to see our dear loved ones again. Revelation 21:4,5 further reassures us of this hope as it speaks of the time when we will not have to worry about suffering and death any longer. May the family continue to draw comfort and strength from these promises.
