Robert "Bob" Lee McKeel, 72, passed away September 25, 2017. Born in Norfolk to the late Calvin and Emma Abernathy McKeel, he served in the United States Army. Bob graduated from a 4 year apprenticeship at the Norfolk Shipbuilding and Drydock. He then went to work at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Bob retired from the Ford Motor Company after 33 years of service as a machinist toolmaker. He was a member of the United Auto Workers Union #919 and the Harley Owners Group. Bob was a faithful member of Tidewater Central Church of the Nazarene.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 53 years, Jane; daughters, Wendy Westbrook (Jim) and LaDonna Smith; grandchildren, Jenna (Austin), Madeline, Wesley, and Savannah; and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home & Cremation Services,1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake, on Thursday, September 28, 2017, from 6-7:30 p.m. A service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Tidewater Central Church of the Nazarene, 5514 Parliament Drive, Virginia Beach.
