The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mollie Calvert can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Dan Speece
Condolence: I recently learned of Mollie's passing, and was very sad. The tribute provided me with an insight into her very loving family, and she clearly was at her happiest with all of you. I served with Mollie in the Navy. I first met her at Officer Indoctrination in Newport RI in 1976. She was a class or two behind me, but impressed me as a very dedicated and motivated officer. Shortly thereafter we were both stationed at the Charleston (SC) Naval Hospital on ward 7A, a general med-surg unit where we got our trial by fire into nursing. She was an excellent nurse, respected by her peers as well as the corpsmen; and very detail oriented. She and I later laughed about her very in-depth patient reports when she covered for me for a rare break. Wishing you Godspeed, Miss Mollie.

Condolence: My sincerest condolences to the family of Mollie. I worked with her in NMCP PACU in the 90s. She was my first division officer in the recovery room. She was a very dedicated and mission oriented Divo. May God comfort your family during these difficult times.

Condolence: Mollie and I jogged MANY miles while training for the Marine Corps Marathon many years ago! She was always a good motivator and friend. She is truly a one of a kind lady, always so loving and patient. I count Mollie as a dear friend and will miss her smiling face but have many wonderful memories that I will always cherish. God Bless, thoughts, prayers and love to her family, Echo Brannan
