The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robin "Rob" Marcum can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Penny, Dava, Luke - - - We were shocked and extremely sorry to learn of Rob's passing. Life's contengencies have been such that, we're sorry to say, has caused us to all but loose touch with you and Rob. Unfortunately, for us, Great Bridge and points south are a little out and off of our beaten path, but we remember better times and hope that these same memories and times will sustain and afford comfort to you. Rob was certainly a gentleman of the highest caliber and will be missed far and wide by all who knew him. Our love and prayers come to you in a most heart-felt manner - - - we pray for you that this hurt will somehow be lessened, leaving only your lifetime of happier times to sustain and comfort you.

Condolence: Rob and Penny were neighbors years ago when their kids were little and after they moved I often saw Rob at the Yard. He was always glad to talk about his family. Our most recent visit was several years ago at a car show. I think he was very proud of Luke for entering law enforcement. God bless the Marcum family during this hard time

Condolence: We are so very sorry to hear of Rob's passing. Our hearts go out to you in this most sorrowful time. There is never enought time with our loved ones and the pain is worst than anything else we will ever face in this world. Only the comfort of our Lord and Savior make it bearable, knowing that our loved one is alive and well in heaven and that we will see them again. Only God's intervening strenght that He gives to those who love Him will see us through such gut renching sorrow. Praise God for His promise of eternal life in Christ Jesus Who gives us the victory over death & the grave. One day God will wipe away our tears and we will live in the Glory and Joy of His Radiance forevermore. Until that time God has given us our precious memories to comfort us which can never be taken away. Cherish them and think of the love, joy and laughter you shared together. When you remember it's as if they are right there with us as we remember their voice and their words spoken to us. Your bond of love will never die and one day the circle will be unbroken as we all gather around God's throne to give praise and glory to our Risen King who gave Himself for all. God Bless you and keep you. You are in our hearts and prayers. With deepest sympathy, Sharon & David

Condolence: We are so very sad for Penny, to not have her wonderful husband, and for the whole family to not have such a man of character and strength to lean on and learn from. But we are filled with joy to know that he has won his race, and has joined Jesus in heaven. What a blessing that he was able to be at his gospel singing night and be sent off in style, covered in love. For him there is no more night!
