Condolence: French (Mac) and I ran around before and during our school years. He went into the Coast Guard and I joined the Air Force, both of us served in the Far East arena and Vietnam. I wish our paths had crossed beyond our years in Pearisburg. Condolence: On behalf of Giles High School Class of 1962, I wish to express our combined condolences on the passing of our classmate French "Mac" McElrath.
I was privileged to have received "Mac" as a
guest in our Pearisburg Home just a few days before his passing. He was a very good friend and enjoyed keeping in touch with family and friends. We will miss "Mac" and his shared knowledge of so many topics.
