Condolence From: Msgt. Lester Spangler Ret USAF

Condolence: French (Mac) and I ran around before and during our school years. He went into the Coast Guard and I joined the Air Force, both of us served in the Far East arena and Vietnam. I wish our paths had crossed beyond our years in Pearisburg. My wish for you and your family is that God be with you all and bless you and them forever and that we may meet again and renew a friendship that is long over due.

Condolence: On behalf of Giles High School Class of 1962, I wish to express our combined condolences on the passing of our classmate French "Mac" McElrath.

I was privileged to have received "Mac" as a
guest in our Pearisburg Home just a few days before his passing. He was a very good friend and enjoyed keeping in touch with family and friends. We will miss "Mac" and his shared knowledge of so many topics.
