Carolyn Brinkley Schaffer went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the age of 69. Carolyn was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always took care of everyone.Carolyn was a long time member of Immanuel Baptist Church, Chesapeake.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 27 years, Kenneth Schaffer; her children, Christopher Turner (Sandy), Joshua Turner and Anna Bounds (Scott); grandchildren, Brandon Turner, Brian Turner, Kenneth Faughan, Susan Thomas, Sierra Turner and Camryn Turner; and her foster daughter, Tanya Ritchie.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services,1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake, on Monday, June 19, 2017 from 6:30 pm to 8 pm . A service to celebrate her life will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church 1012 N Battlefield Blvd, Chesapeake on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 11 am with Pastor Dave Libengood officiating.
