Condolence From: Ron Phillips
Condolence: I worked with Barbara for many years and she had bailed me out many times through them. I will miss her very much as we keep in contact for the last 10 years. She always took the time to email me to see how I was doing in retirement. My condolences to her family and other friends that will miss her as much as I will.

Condolence: To Barbara's many friends and family members: Sadness does not begin to describe the loss of a kind, considerate, and respected co-worker at NSC/FISC/FLC Norfork. Had hoped and prayed she would be able to enjoy some well-deserved retirement years after the stresses of taking care of so many of us with a variety of IT issues. Barbara was the greatest! -jav-

Condolence From: Barbara Robinson
Condolence: Dear Byars Family, I'm sure you already know, but Barbara was a precious living jewel that we were blessed to have in our presence. I met her about 22 years ago and discovered that not only was she a brilliant IT person, but she was gracious, patient, and willing to share her knowledge anytime you needed her. I stopped by her office a few times before she retired to tell her how much I would miss being able to call her for help, but how much I wanted her to take time for herself. We laughed when she said that she had felt that way many years ago when her "support" contacts were leaving, but she made it and that I would be okay too as she was leaving us in good hands with her team. I gave her a good hug and wished her well, but I still have many of her emails that walked me through problems. My prayers are with you. May God's love comfort you always, Barbara Robinson

Condolence: I worked with Barbara for many years. She helped me thru some tough times when I loss my Mom to alzheimer's and when my Dad was very ill. Her devotion to her family and friends is something that I will remember. Her love of God and her Faith was so strong. When she found out she had cancer, she would always tell me 'Everything was going to be alright. She knew where she was going, to be with her Lord'. May God bless and keep you during this difficult time. Faith Longsworth

Condolence: My deepest sympathies to the family. She talked about all of you all the time at work as I was just down the hall from her. She loved her family dearly. Her joy for Disney brought smiles to her face every time we talked as I love Mickey Mouse as well. I made sure she had a Disney Bear when all this began. Something for her to have as she went through this time. I will miss her dearly as she retired the same as I did. But her strong faith helped her keep the course and she knew that she would be home again with her Mom and Dad.

Condolence: I have known Barbara for over 30 years and worked with her at the Naval Supply Center. She was a very dear friend of mine. She was funny and could always bring a smile to your face. She always saw the best in people and never said anything bad about anyone. Her faith and the love that she had for her family and God, made her life complete. Please accept my condolences. Condolence: I never really got to KNOW Barbara Byers. I had talked to her on many occasions on the phone but never got a face to face introduction. One of our co-workers pointed her out to me at one of the many command functions but that was it. I send my sincerest condolences and prayers to the family. I was told she was a woman of Faith so I say to the family may the God of her Faith surround you with peace and if you know Him as she did, you shall meet again. God bless you all.
