Obituary for Don E. Stroud

Don E. Stroud
Don E. Stroud, 73, passed away April 10, 2017. He was born in Kinston, NC to the late Fatle S. and Alice Deal Stroud. Don served his country in the United States Air Force; he retired from the Norfolk Naval Base Public Works and was a member of Great Bridge Masonic Lodge #257 AF and AM.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 36 years, Mary M. Stroud; children, Dawn Stroud, Danise Lane, David Stroud, Melissa Aker, Susan Conway, Alfreda Morris, Amy Anderson and Rion Everette; 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Betty Amos; and brother, F. Shelton Stroud. He was also predeceased by a son-in-law, Shane Anderson.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with Dr. James Horton officiating. He will be laid to rest at Albert G.
