Frances Teresa (Bullock) Shacklock, 68, of High Street, Hertford, NC died Friday, March 31, 2017 in Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Frances was born in Charleston, SC to the late George and Mary Sizemore Bullock. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Tara Kotelman; and grandson, Drake McCollum. Frances was employed as a bookkeeper for several years for Atlantic Yacht Basin and for Superior Paving before retiring and moving to NC. She was a member of Job's Daughters Bethel 33 Norfolk, FBLA, and Beta Sigma Phi. She enjoyed gardening and playing games with her family and friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Jacquelyn Crawford (Kenneth) of The Villages, FL, and Debra Riter (Wesley) of Chesapeake, VA; two grandchildren and her dear friends, Virginia Lovelace and Paul Chappell.
