Condolence: I met Ron back in the Household days ... HFC which transitioned to HCS. Ron joined the softball team and I still remember him saying he'd never really played softball, only Lacrosse and Hockey. Well, let me tell you, Ron was like a Vacuum Cleaner at 3rd Base !! He was equally dangerous at the plate and just an awesome friend and joy to be around ! I too am 52 so hearing the sad news struck pretty close to home. I'm very sorry to hear the news and even more sorry for the challenge this presents for his wife and children !!! Just a couple of weeks ago I saw a bunch of young boys playing Lacrosse and immediately thought of Ron ... sure which I had reached out to say HI !

Condolence: Our sincerest condolences to the Knox family. We are so sorry to hear of Ron's passing. We used to live on the same street with you but moved 2 years ago. We didn't really know you and your family but we visited you after you first moved in (I think Melissa was pregnant at the time), we just stopped over to "welcome you to the neighborhood"! Ron was always quick with a wave if we were in the yard and I am sure his loss is devastating to your family. We are so sorry, my God bless each of you.

Condolence From: Tom Stone
Condolence: My thoughts and deepest sympathy are with the entire Knox family and all those who were fortunate enough to have the pleasure of knowing Ron. Knoxy was one of my best friends, and though we hadn't seen each other in a few years, each time we spoke we picked up right where we left off as if no time had elapsed. He never failed to text me every year on my birthday. Ronnie was a great athlete, but an even better teammate and friend. He had the best attitude, always positive, never down. When we were young hockey players, we called him "Swiss", short for swiss cheese, not the nicest name for a goalie. He took it in stride as he did with everything, and in net he was anything but swiss cheese. He was thoughtful, generous, kind and loyal, and I know he will be terribly missed by all who knew him.

Condolence: Ron and I were co-workers here at Anthem. I met Ron when I first came to the company a couple of years ago and he was such a pleasant person. I actually brought my then 1.2 year old daughter with me to Virginia and he hit it off right away with her. As I sit here and reminisce on how he made her laugh and all the fun they had, I'm reminded of his sweet and genuine spirit. He loved his daughter so much and always shared his pleasure in being a father. He will truly be missed. My prayers and condolences to the family

Condolence: Although it's been a decade since I last saw Ron (at Household), he was the type of person for whom you'd immediately smile when you heard his name. Hearing he has passed on was a shock, but I still can't help but smile when I think of how universally liked this guy was! I hope this very shared opinion will comfort his loved ones.

Condolence: Ronny, Knoxy, Slava - I can't believe you are gone. I am still in disbelief, thinking of our last conversation the other night. I know you know this already, you were my big bro and I love you. You always had my back in sports, but much more importantly, in life. I will miss you terribly, I thought we had so much more time to watch our kids grow up and to share their experiences. You know that without you, I would never have made it here. You opened your house to me, and helped me financially when I had next to nothing. I never forgot that example of kindness and generosity, and have been paying it forward ever since. I love you buddy, I'm sure we'll meet again on the field of dreams. H
