Denise Old Karney, 59, passed away March 8, 2017. She was a graduate of Great Bridge High School and working towards her nursing degree.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Elvin and Linda Meiggs Old; sons, Justin and Jason Karney; and sister, Sheila Old Pickeral.

A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held Monday, March 13, 2017 at 11 am at Graham Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. The family will receive friends following the service. She will be laid to rest at Memory Garden Cemetery, Elizabeth City.
