Gene W. Pugh, 90, passed away February 21, 2017 with his family by his side. Gene was the son of the late Charles and Hazel Brothers Pugh. He served in the United States Navy and was a veteran of WWII.; and retired from Lone Star Cement.
Gene is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Dorothy Pugh; daughters, Hope R. Wilkins (Carl) and Jann L. Venters (Rusty); sons, Brian and Chris Hall; grandchildren, Lisa Price (Tim) Justin and Brian Hall; his first great-grandchild arriving this spring; and a brother, Claude Pugh.
The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 3 to 5 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday, February 27, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Inocencio Alvar officiating. He will be laid to rest at Riverside Memorial Park with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bible Baptist Church, 1004 Edgewood Ave, Chesapeake VA 23324.
