Amelia Earhart Crombie, 81, went to be with her Lord January 14, 2017. Amelia was born in Greenville, NC to the late Wiley and Grace Barrows Davenport. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 23 years, Avery F. Crombie, Sr.; sister, Nellie Williamson and brother, Jodi Davenport. Amelia was a member of Level Green Fellowship, Virginia Beach.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Elizabeth Crombie; sons,Avery Crombie, Jr. and Charles Crombie; sisters, Marie Counterman and Joyce Tari; and brother, James Davenport.
The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. A service to celebrate her life will be held Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 11:00 am at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake.
