Patricia Lou Grubbs  Williams
Patricia L. "Pat" Williams, 84, of Suffolk, Virginia, passed away on November 28, 2016. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on December 22, 1931 to the late Charles F. and Lena V. Grubbs. Pat graduated from Cradock High School in Portsmouth, Virginia. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathi Hill. Pat worked as an office manager for Kempsville Building Materials for about 15 years before moving to Nags Head, North Carolina to pursue her passion of being an artist, painting mainly Outer Banks scenery. She resided with her life-long friend, Anne Berry in Nags Head for many years until she moved to Suffolk in February 2016 to live with her son and his wife.
Pat is survived by her son, Tim Williams and his wife, Suzie; grandchildren, Angela Williams Tucker, Christie Harris, Benjamin Williams, and Van Hill; great-grandson, Austin Williams; and a host of other family and friends. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Pat's care team at Lake Prince Woods in Suffolk and the medical team at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for their kindness and care during her illness.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake, on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at 1 p.m. Please visit her book of memories at www.grahamfuneralhome.com to view the service and leave a condolence.
