Charles Edgar "Charlie"  Ratcliff, Jr.
Charles Edgar Ratcliff, Jr., 68, passed away November 11, 2016. Charlie was born in Welch, WV to the late Charles and Joan Wade Ratcliff. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. Following his military career he was a mechanic for many years and his last being at East Coast Truck and Trailer in sales. Charlie had a great sense of humor, enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a diehard Cowboys fan.

He was a beloved husband, father and papaw. Charlie leaves his loving wife of 31 years, Lillian L. Ratcliff; daughters, Nicole Ratcliff and Elena Howell (Brian); son, Jason Ratcliff; grandchildren, Alyssa, Jasmine, Alexis, Matthew, Landyn, Lanna and Noah; sister, Patricia Shamyer (Bruce); niece, Cynthia Vieira; nephew, Scott Hine; and his special canine companion, Buffy.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 6 to 7:30 pm. A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at 11 am at the funeral home with reception immediately following. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Albert G.
