Lonnie Lee Fancher, Jr., 90, passed away November 5, 2016. Lonnie was born in Fairfield, Alabama to the late Lonnie and Freda Brandes Fancher. He served his country in the United States Navy and was a veteran of WWII, retiring after twenty-one years of service.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Mary Jane Fancher; daughters, Yvonne J. Janney (Larry) and Deborah L. Matthews (Tom); son, Lonnie "Buster" Fancher (Amy); 8 grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

A funeral service with full military honors will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 12 noon at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk with Rev. Larry Adams officiating. Following the service the family will receive friends at the home of Jamie and Jason Young. Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake will be caring for arrangements.
