Robert "Bob" Mason  Scott
CHESAPEAKE- Robert “Bob” Mason Scott, 85, passed away October 12, 2016. He was born in Blacksburg, VA to the late William Bryce and Bertha Davis Scott. Besides his parents, he was also predeceased by his loving wife, Lera Faye Scott; sons, Robert Alan and Stephen Paul Scott; daughter, Traci Dawn Simmons; grandson, David N. Scott, Jr. and brother, Donald B. Scott. Bob was a graduate of Norview High School Class of 1948, he served his country during the Korean Conflict in the US Army and was a longtime member of East Coast Baptist Church. He later retired from Ford Motor Co. in 1983 after 35 years of dedicated service.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Darla Bray-Brown (Richard); sons, David Nolan Scott, Sr. and Phillip Gary Scott (Nadine), Sr.; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Lois Hill; brothers, Paul O. Scott, Richard A. Scott and Theodore A. Scott and numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.

A service to celebrate his life will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at 2 pm at Graham Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake with Pastor Scott Campbell officiating. The burial will follow at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 6-7:30 pm.
