Condolences

Condolence From: Michael Sutton
Condolence: The Workhorse and I worked together at Norfolk Assembly. John was one of my all time favorite people. I could always count on him for a laugh. I haven't seen him since 2010, but, I can say I have thought of him often. He will be missed and I am very sorry for your loss.

Condolence: I am so sorry for your family, with the loss of John. I knew him from the Oaks message board, and we played the Words with Friends game together. I will miss his humor, and his friendship. He was a great man. But we do have the knowledge we WILL see him again someday, in Heaven. Until that day. You all are in my prayers.

Condolence: Anita, Rhonda, Melinda, and all the grandchildren...my heart goes out to you in the loss of husband, Father, and Grandfather. I wish I had had the opportunity to meet him in person, but many of us on the Oak Ridge Boys board came to love him. I also loved his message on your answering service.

Anita, so nice to 'meet' you via phone, and please know my thoughts and prayers for all of you continue for God's strength and comfort during this time of grief.

"And God shall wipe away all tears from every eye...." Someday!

Condolence: I remember the first time I met Mr. Shepherd. He was my rec league softball coach when I was only 8 years old. Then I began working for Berg Legal Clinic and Rhonda and I became great friends to which I was at the house a lot having conversations with Mr. Shepherd. I remember how he loved bluegrass music. He was a proud father! May you all find peace in this difficult time.

Condolence: So sorry to hear of John's passing. We worked together many years at Ford and I can remember many hours we spent on the Box Line with me asking him question after question from the game Trivial Pursuit. I was amazed because he probably answered 85% of the questions correctly. He told me that Anita always said he had a head full of useless information.
Our sincere condolences to Anita, his daughters and his entire family.
