Annie Lee  Cartwright
Annie Lee Cartwright, 83 passed away at her home August 24, 2016. Annie was born in Appomattox County, VA to the late Raymond and Bertha Haggard McDilda. Besides her parents she was predeceased in 1969 by her loving husband, Elton Ray Cartwright and a brother, Raymond L. McDilda, Jr. When her husband passed at a young age she was left to care for their 5 young children, she was a dedicated mom, humble, never complained and always put the needs of others ahead of her own. Annie loved her Lord and was a longtime member of Calvary Temple, Norfolk.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Donna L. Gelbaugh (Mike) and Penny L. Cunningham (Jim); sons, Mark, Leon and Dean Cartwright; a special niece, Kimberly Hinkens; her sister, Leah Mueske (Stan); 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and other loving family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. A service to celebrate her life will be held Monday, August 29, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Libengood officiating.
