Katie Williams Hardy, 83, went home to be with her Savior August 17, 2016. Katie was born in Dillon, SC to the late Richard and Blanche Lane Williams. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her loving husband, Alvin Stanley Hardy; sisters, Edith Cash and Sadie Seawell; and brother, Charlie Williams.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Alan S. Hardy and his wife, Maria; grandson, Marion Magsuci; granddaughter, Holly Edwards; great grandchildren, Taylor and Peyton Edwards; and sister, Doris Brickhouse; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. A service to celebrate her life will be held Monday, August 22, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Chris Amos officiating. She will be laid to rest at 2 p.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr. State Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk.
