Matthew Hunter Toothman
Matthew Hunter Toothman, 17, was taken from this world suddenly on August 7, 2016. Matthew was born in Chesapeake to Michael and Susie Toothman. He was a rising senior at Hickory High School. He enjoyed Marching Band and was a member of the Drum Line, track and tennis. Matthew was a member of the Ambassadors Club and a former member of the Boy Scouts of America.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Susie D. Toothman; brother, Zachary L. Toothman; paternal grandparents, Rex and Karen Toothman; and maternal grandparents, Harry and Fatima Furr; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends.

Viewing will be held at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. A service to celebrate his life will be held Monday, August 15, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, 215 Las Gaviotas Blvd, Chesapeake with Pastor Kevin Ritter officiating. He and his father will be laid to rest in a private ceremony.
