Mary W. Casper, 88, passed away July 19, 2016. Mary was born in Edenton, NC to the late Baker and Essie Perry Ward; besides her parents she was also predeceased by her loving husband, E. Clyde Casper and son, Robert "Bobby" Casper. Mary retired with Southern Office Supply; was a member of Chesapeake Avenue United Methodist Church, a member of the Howell Bible Class, Lifeline prayer group and the Council on Ministries; as well as serving as a volunteer with Meals on Wheels of Chesapeake.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Brenda A.Casper; grandchildren, E. Todd Springer, Cindy C. Ortega, J. Cory Springer and Caroline Casper; five great-grandchildren; and her sister, Jean W. DeHart.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Graham Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. Memorial donations may be made to the Chesapeake Humane Society.
