Richard E.  Bruton, Sr
Richard E. Bruton, Sr, 75, passed away July 6, 2016. Richard was born in Conway, SC to the late Willie and Roxie Bruton. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his loving wife, Dorothy Cook Bruton; brothers, Thomas Bruton and Willie Bruton and his wife, Beth. Richard served his country in the United States Navy, he retired Civil Service with the Department of Defense, and was born again believer and active member at Bethel Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Timothy W. Bruton and Richard E. Bruton, Jr. and his wife, Robyn; grandchildren, Rebecca, Ryan, Kristin Bruton and Abraham Agusto; sister Patricia Powell and her husband, Arnold; and brother, James W. Bruton and his wife, Anne; sister-in-law, Rose Bruton; special friend, Cathy Vellines and a host of nieces and nephews he loved dearly.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 pm. A service to celebrate his life will be held Sunday, July 10, 2016 at 3 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, 1832 Elbow Road, Chesapeake with Dr. Marcus Bridges officiating.
