Obituary for Fred Ingram
Fred Ingram, 81, of the 600 block of Shell Road. Fred was born in Zebulon, NC to the late John and Polly Edwards Ingram. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his son, Fred J. Ingram. He was the founder of Ingrams Heating and Cooling; a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church, as well as the Sons of the Confederate Veterans Stonewall Camp #380.
On July 1, 1955 he married the love of his life Virginia L. Ingram. Fred and Virginia honored those vows for the next 61 years until the day the Lord called him home July 1, 2016 . Besides his wife he also leaves a son, John A. Ingram and his fiancé, Stacy Redditt; daughter-in-law, Pat T. Ingram; grandchildren, Shannon Ducote and her husband, Vince, Jereme Ingram and his wife, Sarah, Courtney R. Lewis and her husband, Franklin; great-grandchildren, Addison, Jaxon, Jereme and Sophia; The family would especially like to thank Heartland Hospice for all the kindness they showed Fred and the entire family.
A service to celebrate his life will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 4 p.m. at Deep Creek Baptist Church, Chesapeake with Rev. Larry C. Ryals officiating. At the request of the family omit flowers and make donations to Deep Creek Baptist Church, 250 Mill Creek Parkway, Chesapeake, VA 23323. Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Services will be caring for arrangements. Please visit his book of memories at www.grahamfuneralhome.com to send words of encouragement to the family.
