Obituary for James Edward Young

James Edward Young
James E. Young, husband, father, and grandfather passed away June 23, 2016 surrounded by family. After serving in the US Army during the Vietnam War, James became a mechanic and long distance truck driver until he retired in the fall of 2000. He is preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Garnet Young; sisters, Charlotte and Annabelle and a brother, Paul.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Tena; son, James E. Young, II (Laurel); daughters, Christina Anderson (Michael), Patricia Doyle (Gary), Deanna Mansfield (Buddy) and Jamie Meads (Glen); grandchildren, Kalyn, Samantha, Kamryn, and William; sister, Joyce (Gene) and other loving family and friends.

A service to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. Please visit his Book of Memories at www.grahamfuneralhome.com to view the service if unable to attend or leave a note to the family.
