Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gwendolyn Gehring can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Brenda Vernon
Condolence: I met Gwen through the Red Hat Society. She, Patsy, Joanne and I shared the same October 4 birthday. I had wondering about her as I had not heard from her in a while so I googled her name and found out she had died in June. I send my sincerest sympathy to her family. She was a sweetie and I know you must miss her so.

Condolence: When we worked together at the VA Beach CVB, Gwen's smiling face was the first seen upon entering the office. She was always cheerful and quick with a story. As the years passed, we didn't interact directly, but kept in touch thru emails. Gwen's sense of humor continued to shine thru her emails...one last time, Aloha BayBe :-) You'll be missed.

Condolence: I knew Gwen through our Red Hat Chapter, Born Reddy! She was generous with her time and her laughter. I've never known another person with such a love for animals. I'm glad she got to enjoy traveling in the past few years. She will be missed.

Condolence: I met Gwen years ago when I taught aerobics class in 1987 when she attended my class. I remember that she approached me after class to talk about health and exercise and was so warm and friendly. We ended up talking frequently after class and shared lunch and dinner together on occasion. Through the years we lost touch but reconnected through Bayside Presbyterian Church and Bayside Recreational Center. I'll always remember Gwen as a caring, loving and special person in my life. Condolences to family and friends who loved and cherished their friendship with Gwen.
