Obituary for Sam King, Jr.

Sam King, Jr., 67, passed away April 17, 2016 at home surrounded by his family. Sam was born in Conway, SC to the late Sam and Bertha Todd King. He was also predeceased by his daughter, Jacquelyn King. Sam was well known for his landscaping business in the Hampton Roads area. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife and companion of 39 years, Linda King; daughter, Sandra King; sons, Timothy King (Tiffany King), Billy King (Shanell Morelli), and Richard Wendt; twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; sister, Velma Ree Watts; and a host of other family and friends.

A service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 4 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Norfolk Botanical Garden at www.norfolkbotanicalgarden.org.
