VIRGINIA BEACH- Christa Reed Barnes, 31, passed away too soon with her family by her side on April 13, 2016. Christa was a walking fashion statement who was loving, funny and full of life. She was an all-around gal with an infectious laugh. Christa graduated from Bayside High School and then later from ECPI. She worked for VA Oncology Associates as an operator for many years and was currently working for Beach Ford as a receptionist. She will be greatly missed by all she knew.

Left to cherish her memory are her father, William K. Bowers & his wife, Debra; step-sisters, Joy, Beth & Regina; paternal grandparents, Rheabon C. & Christa W. Bowers, Sr.; step-father, Rick Caldwell; half-brother, Eric Caldwell & his son, Owen; aunt, Sandy Shirk & her husband, Tom; uncle, Rheabon C. Bowers, Jr. & his wife, Linda; cousins, Rheabon C. Bowers, III, Amberlea Lymaster, Bobby Rhea Shirk & Colton Shirk; longtime best friends, Krissy & Caroline and numerous other loving family and friends. She was predeceased by her cousin, Justin Noland.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 11 am at Graham Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake.
