William Richard Newcomb, 83, passed away February 11, 2016. William was born in Pittsylvania County, Virginia to D. T. and Bessie Inge Newcomb. He was an electrician for over 45 years and a member of the I.B.E.W. Local 80.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of over 60 years, Mary Jean Newcomb; son, Donnie Newcomb; and a host of other family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from 6 - 7 p.m. A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Danville Memorial Gardens, 510 Church Avenue, Danville.
