Carolyn Jean Smith (Barnes)
Carolyn J. Smith, 81, passed away on January 24, 2016 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Norfolk on Dec. 2, 1934. She is proceeded in death by her husband Norman L. Smith, of 63 years, her brothers Vincent Reardon and Kenneth Reardon.
Left to cherish her memory are one daughter and four sons, Norman Smith Jr., James Smith, Dennis Smith, Susie Jennings and Garry Smith Sr., 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016, at 12:30 pm at South Norfolk Baptist Church. 1101 Chesapeake Ave., Chesapeake, VA. 23324.
