Ronald Lee  Kittrell
Ronald L. Kittrell, 83, passed away December 26, 2015. Born in Norfolk on May 22, 1932 to the late Elsie Johnson, he was a 1950 graduate of Maury High School. After graduation he serviced his country in the United States Navy. Following his military career he worked for Virginia Natural Gas retiring after 44 years of service. Ronald was also a member of Temple Baptist Church, Norfolk. Besides his mother he was predeceased by his sister, Jean Kittrell Hall and her husband, Webster Dowell Hall.

He is survived by a nephew, Richard D. Hall (Kathy); nieces, Denise Jarrett (Sam) and Darlene Chambers (Kent); 3 great nephews, 4 great nieces, 3 great great nephews and 2 great great nieces.

A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk on December 31, 2015 at 11 a.m. with military honors. Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake will be caring for arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family suggested that contributions be made to the Norfolk Animal Care and Adoption Center, 5585 Sabre Road, Norfolk, VA 23502.
