Obituary for Faye Bertha England

Faye Bertha  England
CHESAPEAKE- Faye B. England, 78, went to be with her Lord, September, 19, 2015 with her family by her side. She was born to the late Robert A. and Myrtle P. Knowles. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Andy; daughter, Emily; brothers, Walter, Bob and RC and sisters, Juanita and Madgeline. Faye loved the Lord and served him faithfully. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School for many years, she was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church of Norfolk, and currently a member at Peoples Baptist Church, Chesapeake.
Faye married the love of her life, Billy England, on December 17, 1956. They were a Mom and Dad to a lot of kids. They were the first family in the state of Virginia to be able to adopt a foster child. Since 1964, they were foster parents to 123 children. Faye also had a strong love for special needs children.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 60 years, Billy England; daughters, Dee-Dee, Nikala, Ashlyn, Haley and Abigail; sons, Dan, Billy, John, Shawn, Travis, Ethan, Thomas, Kaleb, Johnathan Leslie and Kaden and numerous other loving family and friends.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 11am at Peoples Baptist Church, 1200 Cedar Road, Chesapeake with Pastor Gib Hale officiating. Burial will follow at Colonial Grove Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake, Tuesday from 6-7:30pm.
