Obituary for Clarence Earl "Clem" Casper

Clarence Earl "Clem" Casper
Clarence "Clem" Earl Casper, 75, went to be with his Lord August 12, 2015 with his family by his side. Clem was born in Eure, NC to the late, James and Ida Eure Casper. Clem's love for his family was second only to his love for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ whom he served through song with the Searchers Quartet. He sang bass and managed the quartet for twenty-eight years. Clem was also an active member of Rivercrest Christian Fellowship.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 53 years, Sue Casper; daughter, Donna Dooley and her husband, Ricky; son, Steve Casper and his wife, Donna; a brother, Richard Casper and his wife, Jesse; and 4 grandchildren. Clem was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 1 to 2 pm at Rivercrest Christian Fellowship, 1510 Campostella Road, Chesapeake with a service to celebrate his life beginning at 2 pm with Rev. Doyle Wells and Rev. Billy Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk. Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake will be caring for arrangements.
