CHESAPEAKE- Robert Lee Taylor, III, 73, went to be with his Lord, August 2, 2015. He was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Robert L. Taylor, Jr. and Irene Creekmore Taylor. Bob was raised in South Norfolk and was a former member of South Norfolk Baptist Church. He served his country in the US Air Force during Vietnam and his later careers included real estate broker and an administrative director for his son''s law firm. He was a member of Trinity Christian Church of Suffolk and was also a member of the Gideons International. Bob was a joy to be around and lived life to the fullest touching many lives sharing God''s word. His greatest passion was his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Besides his mother, left to cherish his memory are his sons, Jeff C. Taylor and Steve C. Taylor; granddaughter, Tessa A. Taylor; sister, Joan M. Feehan (Stephen); nephews, Stephen E. Feehan and David T. Feehan (Robin); great niece, Stella L. Feehan; granddogs, Cuddles, Princess and Caleb and other loving family and friends.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 2 pm at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-7:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Gideons International.
