Sylviadell Baker Meier, 67, passed away July 25, 2015. Sylviadell was born to the late Leedell and Josephine Warren Baker and was the loving wife of Dennis Lea Meier. She was a graduate of Norfolk State University and a retired nurse from Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital. Sylviadell was a member of Central Baptist Church, Norfolk.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband and other loving family members and friends.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Central Baptist Church, 701 Olney Road, Norfolk with Dr Lynn Hardaway officiating. Burial will follow at Great Fork Baptist Church Cemetery, Suffolk. The family will receive friends at the church an hour prior to the service.
