Obituary for Alice Kisner
Alice Kisner, 83, passed away July 22, 2015. Alice was born in Manheim, WV to the late Ralph and Belle Funk Huff and was the loving wife of the late Dale R. Kisner.
She was a member of Avalon Church of Christ.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Denise Rupe (Tab), Diane Talley (Jerry), Donna Johnson (Tom), Danelle Peeples (Chuck) and Dina Farley (Butch); sons, David Kisner (Angela) and Dean Kisner; 18 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; brother, Fred Huff; and a host of other family and friends. A special thank you to the 6 North nursing staff of UVA Hospital, Charlottesville, VA for their loving and compassionate care.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Graham Funeral Home,1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake with Pastor's Jimmy Bennett and Byron Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, July 27, 2015 from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to UVA Health Foundation, PO Box 800773, Charlottesville, VA 22908-0773 for medical and nursing education. Please visit her book of memories at www.grahamfuneralhome.com to view the service if unable to attend and to send words of encouragement to the family.
