Jean Marcin Coddens, 70, passed away July 20, 2015. Jean was born in Akron, OH and was predeceased by her mother, Eleanor Marcin and her son, Steven Metzger. She is a member of Grace Baptist Temple, Chesapeake and was a registered nurse and retired from Portsmouth Naval Hospital.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Kelly Ventura-Nikolas (Jason); grandchildren, Michael, Jenna, Brooke and Adam; sister, Karen Wall and her husband, Newil; and many close friends who were dear to her heart.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Saturday, July 25, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Grace Baptist Temple, 1101 Burns St, Chesapeake. She will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk. The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Friday, July 24, 2015 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
