CHESAPEAKE- Mary Fleming Smith, 86, went to be with her Lord, July 2, 2015. She was born in Charleston, WV to the late Oliver and Sally Fleming. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Capt. Robert W. Smith. Mary was a lifetime member and deaconess of Rosemont Christian Church, Chesapeake, she was a member of the Chesapeake Police Women''s Auxiliary Unit and she also helped with the Chesapeake Meals on Wheels. She was a loving mother, Mee-Maw and friend to all she knew and was known as the neighborhood mom for many throughout the years.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Grant Smith; daughter, Robin Crim (Lee); grandchildren, Matthew Smith, Nicholas Frost (Caitlin), Joshua Frost, Hillary Smith, Elizabeth Crim, Brittany Crim and Jessica Childers; great-grandchildren, Zoey and Harley and numerous other loving family and friends.
