CHESAPEAKE- Frances Lawrence Edmundson, 83, went to be with her Lord, June 30, 2015. She was born in Pulaski, Virginia to the late Robert and Gussie Bandy. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her first husband, Richard; son, Tony; daughter, Kathy and her loving brothers and sisters. Frances was a very loving and giving person who cherished her family and never met a stranger. Frances was one of the 3 Musketeers, Sister Edmundson, Sister Woods and Sister Belangia, Friends Forever.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 12 years, Sidney Edmundson; sons, Tommy and Barry(Donna); daughters, Pam (Henry), Teresa (Larry), Sharon, Norma (Tommy); 17 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 32 great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Diane; special childhood friend, Joyce Gray and numerous other loving family and friends.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 11am at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake, VA. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk, VA. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-7:30pm. The family would like to thank the staff at Grace Hospice, especially Sheila and Kehyonha.
