CHESAPEAKE- Flossie Mae Jones Marshall, 92, went to be with her Lord and Savior April 30, 2015. She was born in Lenoir Co., NC to the late Charles F. and Bessie H. Jones. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Norman J. Marshall and son, Charles K. Marshall.
Flossie was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to all she knew. For many years in the early 70''s, she enjoyed being a Girl Scout Troop Leader for many girls. She was a member for many years at Grace Baptist Temple, Chesapeake and also numerous South Norfolk Senior Citizens Clubs.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Vanessa McPherson; son, Luke Marshall; grandchildren, Victoria McPherson, Sonny and Shawn Marshall; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Charles F. Jones, Jr. and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 3pm at Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake. The family will receive friends following the service. She will be laid to rest at Rosewood Memorial Park at a later date.
