Obituary for Ellen Margaret Turner

Ellen Margaret  Turner
Chesapeake- Ellen Margaret Turner, 72, passed away on April 27, 2015. She was born in Charlottesville, Va. to the late Welford and Mary Shifflett. She was preceded in death by her husband George E. Turner. She retired as a Deputy Clerk from the City of Chesapeake Circuit Court where she was fondly known as "ET".

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Cindy T. Kochersperger and her husband, David and Lisa S. Snyders and her husband, Jon; grandchildren Ashley Kochersperger and her fiance Joshua Foy, Taylor Smith, and Emily Snyders; sister, Lottie Blincoe and husband, Mike; brother, Warren Shifflett and wife, Kathleen; as well as several nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

A service to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Brueseke officiating. She will be laid to rest at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home an hour prior to the service. Memorial donations can be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association.
