Phyllis Collier Engebretsen, 73, passed away on April 14, 2015. She was born in Monroe, NC to the late Toye and Lydia Collier. Phyllis was also preceded in death by brothers Shelton and Norwood Collier and sister Brenda Harris.

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Eugene Engebretsen; sons, Brian Futrell of Chesapeake and Dale Engebretsen and his wife Carol of Moyock, NC; daughters, Lori Zydzik and her husband Harold of Virginia Beach and Kari Clark of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Jerry Collier and his wife, Patricia of Norfolk. Also left to cherish her memories are 5 grandchildren, Logan, Reagan, Kimberly, Craig, and Rachael and 4 great grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979.
