Steve Stavros  Steele
Steve Stavros Steele, 81, passed away February 26, 2015. Steve was born in Queens, New York to the late John and Mary Demetriou Steele. He was a proud United States Army veteran of the Korean War and a retired manager for the Southland Corporation. Steve was a longtime member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral and was also a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 58 years, Jane Tomlinson Steele; daughters, Leslie Ullom (Ed), Lisa Wetherington (Jay), and Stephanie Odom; grandchildren, Greg, James, Jeff, Stephen, and Maxie; and cousins, Xenia Hill and George Dimitriou.

A service to celebrate his life will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at 11 a.m. at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 621 First Colonial Road, Virginia Beach with Rev. Father John Manuel officiating. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk with military honors. A Trisagion service will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 7 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake.
