Frances Viola Farmer Picot, 89, left this world for her eternal home in glory on February 9, 2015. She was born in West Virginia to the late Samuel W. Farmer and Bertha Powell. Frances was a retired Director of Nursing with the Head Start Program; a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church where she was a member of the choir, was an ordained Elder, former Clerk of Session and a member of the Women of the Church.

Left to cherish her memory are is her son, William A. Farmer; grandchildren, Tracey C. Prather and Anthony W. Farmer; great-grandchildren, Alexsis R. Farmer and Kristopher R. Farmer; five great great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

Her homegoing service will be held Monday, February 16, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake with Rev. Helen Bessent Byrd. officiating.
