Tina Gay Sherwood , 58, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother affectionately known as "Mimmie" passed away January 18, 2015. Tina was born in Norfolk to the late, James and Joyce Layton Harrell. She was a graduate of Oscar Smith High School and a member of South Norfolk Congregational Christian Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 39 years, Hugh T. Sherwood, III; daughter, Karina Hutton and her husband, David; her greatest joy her grandchildren, Christalina, Ellie Jo and Emma; sisters, Joy Horn (John) and LaCinda Yarns (David); and numerous extended family and friends.

A service to celebrate her life will be held Friday, January 23, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Graham Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Please visit her book of memories at www.grahamfuneralhome.com to view the service if unable to attend and to leave a note to the family.
