Joseph Wesley  Wilkinson
Joseph W. Wilkinson, 91, passed away on November 3, 2014. He served his country in the U. S. Navy and was a member of the Knights of Pythias Charity Lodge #10. Born in Norfolk, Virginia on November 19, 1922 to the late Charles and Della Wilkinson. Besides his parents he was also predeceased by his loving wife, Norma Wilkinson and daughter, Miriam Wilkinson.
He is survived by his children, Nancy Garcia, JoAnne Hale (James) and Charles Wilkinson (Ellen); grandchildren, Chuck, Terri and Kelley; great-grandchildren, Sarah, Katie, Tripp and Lilly; brother, William Wilkinson; and sister, Virginia Jones.
A memorial service will be held at Graham Funeral Home, 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 5 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Home for Disabled Children, 6171 Kempsville Road, Norfolk, VA. 23502.
