Condolence: Jeff was a childhood friend from way back in kindergarten. His passing is very sobering - urging us to make each day count for we are not promised tomorrow. My love and prayers go out to his family and the friends whose lives he touched every day. Praying for God's peace in the coming day.

Condolence: Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Jeff was a real true friend and he was the big brother that I never had. He will be missed every day. Not only was he the best man at our wedding, but he is the BEST man. Our last times spent together were filled with fun, laughter, worship, and love. To Hannah, I'll ride any roller coaster in the world with you! Until we meet again, my friend, you will be in our thoughts each day. With much love, Craig and Lesley

Condolence: Though it seems we were high school classmates just yesterday, Jeff's death is a very sobering reminder of the brevity of life. I've made a fresh resolve as a result to not allow my life to be wasted. What a comfort to know that he is not lost, but is in great comfort in the everlasting arms of Jesus. Praying for his grieving family.

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers are with you. Jeff was a dear classmate and friend. May the Lord surround you with peace that only He can give during this difficult time. I Thes 4:13-17 "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

Condolence: It is with great sadness that we mourn the unexpected loss of our Brother in Christ, Jeff. His job here is done and he now rests at the throne of God, awaiting his next mission. He will be missed but not forgotten. Our prayers go to his entire family that The Lord will guide and direct them through this ordeal. Our church family has lost a good soldier. We pray that his friends will join us and experience what he loved so much. Until we meet again, Brother, rest in peace and peace be with your family.

Condolence: I had the pleasure of working with Jeff at Freedom Lincoln Mercury. I must say that in my daily interaction with him, his distinct love of the Lord and his fellow man was astounding. I can truly say that Jeff was a prime example of what your life looks like when God is living in you. I am confident on where his soul is, with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He spoke very highly of his love for his wife and daughter. They were his life. He was such an encouragement and always made it a point to share a joke a laugh, a smile, a kind word or a scripture. I recall him sharing a funny joke with me years ago about a mood ring. He said if your wife is in a good mood, it will be blue and if she's in a bad mood, it will leave a big red mark on your forehead. He would always stop to ask what color my mood ring was and we'd share a laugh. I will never forget the impact he had on my life. May the Slape family be comforted today and in the difficult days ahead knowing that Jeff has made it to where we all hope to be one day and he is hearing those words we all hope to hear, "Well done, good and faithful servant". May God bless you all.
