Lewis Fredrick Caldwell, 89, passed away October 18, 2014. Lewis was born in Springville, Virginia to the late Fredrick Caldwell and Minnie Carter Caldwell. He served his country in the United States Navy during WWII and Retired as a Sales Manager with the Flowers Baking Company. He was also a member of the Kempsville Christian Church, formerly was very active at Adventure Christian Church, Norview Masonic Lodge AF & AM #113 and the American Legion Post 0280.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Phyllis J. Caldwell; son, James L. Caldwell and his wife,Judy; grandchildren, Julie Carson and James M. Caldwell; four great grandchildren; and a brother, Thomas Caldwell.

A service to celebrate his life will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at 11:00 am at Graham Funeral Home with Minister Randy Childress officiating followed by Masonic Rites. He will be laid to rest with military honors at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk. The family will receive friends at Graham Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
