Isabel Helen Jendrick Matyiko, 89, passed away in her home on October 17,2014. She was born in the Blackwater area of Virginia Beach, VA to the late Joseph and Hannah Jendrick and was the loving wife to the late John Matyiko. Isabel was also predeceased by her siblings, Steve, Julia, Margaret, Elizabeth, Agnes and Ellen. She had attended Kempsville High School and enjoyed the outdoors and raising her four sons on their family farm.
Isabel is lovingly remembered by her 4 devoted sons and their spouses, John (Barbara), Joe (Faye), Jim (Gayle) and Jerry (Joan); 14 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren.
The family would like to recognize her caregivers, MaryAnn, Tina, Liz and Gail, for taking such loving care of Isabel in the challenging years.
A celebration of her life will be held at Graham Funeral Home, Chesapeake, on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 2 PM .
